KITCHEN
While growing up, an ideal kitchen to me was a small place at the backyard of every house where you have stones for pots to sit, filled with ashes and charcoal. In a traditional African setting a kitchen is a place where food gets done and children are not allowed to play around in there. Subsequently, I learnt that you can actually have a kitchen in the main house where you have just a or sink to wash in, kerosene or gas stove and a small plastic basket where the plates, spoons and pot are kept. There was no room for kids in the kitchen. Fortunately for me, learning about kitchen design and decorations, I found out that kitchen should be a lot more interesting than I grew up with. With contemporary designs, you can actually make your kitchen in such a way that you can gather with everyone in the houuse casually or children writing their assignments while u cook and have fun while cooking.
